Steps

Get the shortcut. Dynamic Wallpapers Shortcut

Run the shortcut and select Refresh options and allow all required permissions.

Let’s setup one automation so you don’t need to trigger this shortcut to update your wallpaper.

  1. Go to Shortcuts app
  2. Go to Automation tab
  3. Tap “+” to create new automation
  4. Tap Create Personal Automation
  5. Tap Time of Day > Sunrise > 1 hour before sunrise > Done > Next
  6. Tap Add Action > Text > Type Automation
  7. Tap “+” to add another action > Find action called Run Shortcut > Select Dynamic Wallpapers shortcut > Next
  8. Turn off Ask Before Running
  9. Done

You should see one automation in the automation list.
“1 hour before sunrise, daily”

Now, repeat above steps to setup other 7 automations as mentioned below to run this through day/night at specific times.
— At sunrise, daily
— 1 hour after sunrise, daily
— 2 hours after sunrise, daily
— 2 hours before sunset, daily
— 1 hour before sunset, daily
— At sunset, daily
— 1 hour after sunset, daily
— At 2:00 AM, daily (This is to shuffle wallpaper set)

If you have followed correctly so far then you should see something similar to this.

Done. You should see updated theme periodically (early morning/morning/noon/evening/night)

Recommended (Optional)

Follow this if you are tired seeing lots of notifications from Shortcuts app.

Go to Settings > Screen Time > See All Activity

Find Shortcuts under Notifications section. If it’s not there then try to switch days and find it.

Turn of All Notifications.

Note: This step of turning off the notifications is required again if you restart your device.
